its like its implied as things get more advanced we get spied on more.

well for one the barcode license plates portrayed in BTTF never came about because cop cars and cameras can now scan the digits, and they prefer digits so that citizens can record them also.

No excuses for the hoverboard though, ive been waiting a long time for one of those.
