i tried to get on his forum but no success...now he write this:

www.richplanet.net community built on miniBB /

RICHPLANET.NET FORUM : WE ARE NOT ADMITTING NEW MEMBERS AT THIS POINT IN TIME. THIS IS DUE TO PREVIOUS TROLLS ATTACKING THE FORUM.
There is still no decision on whether new members will be added. This can only happen when suitable moderators are in place, who are not easy to find for obvious reasons.

when he says suitable mods...does he mean golden dawners?

I think people often use their middle initial to avoid confusion with somebody else of the same name. Both the name Richard and Hall are common. I know a few Hall's and even more Richard's.

I can't help but have a childish chuckle to myself whenever I hear Manly P. Hall's name, it sounds like a butch bog.

I like Richard - he seems very genuine, and he covers some interesting stuff. I don't agree with all the conclusions I've seen him draw, but I don't think you can link him to the Golden Dawn because of an extremely common surname & use of middle initial.

What an odd name 'Manly' is.

Yes. I've seen him giving talks at the Probe convention in Blackpool a couple of times. He's very passionate, and conducts some good research from what bit I've seen of him.

*Edit* I don't mean anatomical 'bits' either, just in case you were lining up some smut! :P :D

Probe convention? I didn't think you got let out long enough to attend that. My mate Hagbard is always on about Probe, and he was on one of those Starship shows too.

Smut? moi? surely not !!

Unlike Hags, I only live 20 minutes drive away from the venue, so it's not a big deal. I don't always go, & sometimes only go to it for 1 of the 2 day stints. But yes, been loads of times.

Some of the talkers are rubbish, & some are fascinating - it's a mixed bag.

It's about once every 6 months, & t'other half sulks & tries to pick unrelated fights 'cause I'm going out. However, he can sulk till he's blue in the face for all I care.

It's my new year's resolution to get out more anyway. :)

You're lucky having it on your doorstep, I know Haggers always has to book a hotel.

Getting out more is good  You could accept one of those invites you recieved.
