Do the games have to be cancelled if someone touches the torch or something?

Ok, it can't be a free for all but they seem to guard it rather over zealously!

I've looked into this and it turns out that the reason is that the GB Judo team have not had a venue to train. The Minister for Sport spent the required fiat on a face lift for Andy Murray. Left devoid of a dojo, the Judo team had no choice but to sign up as torch security. I think their plan has worked well and I'm looking forward to high rankings in the medals table for the GB team. It's all perfectly understandable once you do the research people.

During the November 9th student demo in London plain clothes cops were used to terrorise the crowd and snatch people. There were calls to remember their faces, and make them pay.





Along with all the other Olympic related guff on the BBC is this article about how 52 cops have been kept off the doughnuts and trained up to protect the torch as it travels the country. With it was a photo of some of them practising, and the cop the the right is one of the plain clothes cops from N9.

Perhaps he thought we'd forgotten. We haven't.
