To open this section, I want to chat about what I call fairies.

As I wander about life I see them very very often.

So, I am not talking about little winged maidens at the bottom of the garden. Some people would say what I see is a type of orb. Little incidences of light that have independence, apparent intelligence and the ability to come in and out of this 'dimension'.

Sometimes I see hosts of them as if they are having some kind of gathering. Other times just one or two, moving about doing there thing. They have become a familar part of my life over the years and seem to get the vibe off me that I'm cool with them as sometimes they'll follow me about.

An example. I am proper soft when it comes to birds. At present we have a pheasant with a broken leg that has taken up residence beneath our bird table. I spent a few days befriending it and have got to the point where I'm hand feeding it. I intend to get it so used to me that it will be ok with me checking it's leg. (Yes I know it's a pheasant).

The fairies seem rather interested in this mission. Whenever I'm sat down with "hoppy", several of them will appear and buzz around us. Sometimes landing on Hoppy's back and 'walking' around on him. I don't know if they are trying to help but it feels like they are.

So does anyone else know what I'm on about? Anyone care to chat about them?

Wow, dubs, that's amazing! I've never heard of anything like that. You lucky thing! When I was a little girl I used to write notes to fairies and leave them in the garden - sadly, they never replied!

I have heard myself that orbs are related to ghosts, and are the beginnings of a spirit manifestation. They were always catching them on "Most Haunted" (I loved that programme, lol!).

I certainly believe that what we see and feel in this dimension is not all there is. I also think that children are more likely to be "in touch" with other entities than adults - I did see the odd ghost or two when I was a child, but never since.

It's wonderful too what you're doing for the injured pheasant - hope it gets better soon!

I saw a fairy skelton once.

it wasn't just me there were 3 of us.

But it was a proper actual fairy skeleton

Each and everyone of us said to each other.....no it was just a realy small monkey skeleton

Although I never clocked any orbs that time, I swear something was happening with my pegs. I actually caught myself angling my head, as you might do in a dentist's chair, and it felt just like someone was stood next to me applying 'healing'.

I see orbs quite frequently where I am now but it's usually indoors and not outdoors that I notice them.

one time when i was tripping balls in winter on acid, there were these lights in the tree. and i watched them a long time. and it wasn't lights, it was fucking gnomes.

Mandy, I think there is a lot to what you say. Certainly there is more to reality than the frequency range we experience/are attuned to. These 'creatures' appear to predominantly exist beyond that and I'm not sure whether they come into this range or if I am just stretching my perception a bit tbh.

Melanae, that sounds really interesting and worthy of a thread of itself. I for one would love the full story.

Ab, I encounter these things in and outdoors. I once entered a field and saw literally thousands of them 'take off' as if I had disturbed them. I also see them about when I'm sat chilling at home.

Im jealous that you see fairies and I don't. But i am also looking after a bird/bird's nest so that kind of compensates.

Check out the pheasant with broken leg....soon you'll be hand feeding it!! EDIT: just realised you already are hand feeding it....hopefully you can check the leg anyway.

Haha yeah it's getting used to me. Haven't made the move to grabbing it yet though. Next couple of days. It's well out of condition bless it. Lost it's sheen and a lot of weight.

Maybe a big fishing type net to catch it, then put in a box, feed it up and then do your Rolf Harris thing on the leg? Then physio/treadmill to get its strength up. Whats the plan?

The nest i mentioned is at a friends house where she just moved moved house. The house is amazing, but the one thing that needs doing is to clear a big bramble patch in the front garden. She made a start before I arrived, but after an hour noticed a blackcap (grey bird with a black patch on its head) going mental and hopping all over the place so she stopped and waited for me. I had a look inside the brambles and could see almost at eye level the nest which was occupied by a nervous looking bird. the nest is totally exposed as a whole section of brambles is missing, so basically ive been building it back up using sheets of plastic to build a base and then leaning branches and other stuff the make the thicket thicker

Fair play to you. I'm amazed that it hasn't already legged it to be honest. Is it incubating yet do you know? If not it probably would be ok (though obviously a bit gutted) with building a fresh nest elsewhere. Totally get you though and I'd be doing the same thing.

Actually I dont know why I mentioned using a net, as you say, much better to use a jacket/towel or something so it doesnt freak out. Pheasants are slow at the best of times (am always having to slam the brakes on due to their reluctance to actually use their wings) so you should have no trouble. as for what to do in the workshop, thats for you to decide. If you can restore a car im sure you can pimp a pheasant leg

Regarding the bird I mentioned, I checked today and there are 3 eggs there, hence i guess why they have hung around. this type of bird makes several nests apparently, then lays eggs in only one of them, so i suppose it would have buggered off if this had happened sooner. the house wasnt occupied until recently so it would have seemed like an ideal spot, till the gardening began. So for now we just try to give them space and shoo any cats away.

I am now a little concerned about hoppy. He is nowhere to be seen today. It may be a good sign that he has got better but he's been hopping for a fortnight and was yesterday so I doubt that.
It would seem more likely he has been got at. If so I'll be gutted that I didn't just catch him straight away rather than try to gain his trust...

On the LSD thing. Yes, I consumed several buckets full in me yoof for some stupid reason and it really doesn't compare to shrooms. Shrooms can teach you things whereas LSD is more like a fun night out. My tuppence any way

Or, he could be getting sympathy elsewhere now and is being looked after by someone else. I picked up this dog on the motorway once and took him back to the owners - turns out its an old routine and gives people the "i've been abandonned" look in the hope he'll get sausage rolls or something.
