Has anyone ever postulated on this?
A planet with the elliptical orbit of Nibiru would be spending a millenia or two in pretty deep space where it received very low levels of sunlight. Then as it reached perehelion it would be getting increasingly large amounts of solar energy.
So it would seem highly improbable that a planet with such a vastly and regularly varying climate could spawn and maintain a species that resembled the hominids of Earth so closely that a genetic combination was possible would it not?
Yeah, I'm not sold on the Niburu aspect dubs. Although I do think there is much to be said for the intervention side of things...a whole lot more than the alternatives, anyway. I don't doubt that there could have been a collision at some point, which for some reason makes me link to dinosaurs...I don't even know why, really. Just a hunch.
I struggle with the gold element too, tbh. I'd have thought, a species capable of genetic manipulation and space travel would've mastered metallurgy to the degree that they didn't necessarily have to go "hunting" for it. So, if "they" were here, or indeed still are, I doubt it has anything to do with natural resources, tbh.
I'm looking for any reference he makes to the dinosaurs now actually, as this is an element to our story I've never really been able to make sense of.
I'm not sure how I feel about Sitchin. Probably a bit like IAAIA mentions above. Certainly, that has turned me off his stuff in the past.
