I noticed that too, mountain. Thank you for your considered and honest response.
Do you all remember that vid doing the rounds a while ago where a couple recorded themselves sleeping and managed to capture the wife disappearing and reappearing under the sheets during the course of the filming? It's nowhere near as dirty as I've described...but you know me. I'll see if I can find it.
Anyway, my point being, if we have technology capable of making entire craft disappear, who is to say that this method of possible 'abduction' isn't also entirely doable? I must, must, must pull my finger out and get edumakated re Tesla and his inventions.
Oh, man, I really hope you find that video! Reminds me of something that happened a few years back. I had been out drinking with a friend who lived in a teeny weeny studio apartment. You could barely move in the living space because she had a futon laid out with a t.v. at the foot of it and to the side was a big chair, desk & dresser(so you just had a path to walk through to the kitchen and bathroom.
Anyhoo, I crashed at her place, sharing the futon. At some point, I woke up(4ish am) and sat up in bed and she wasn't there. I got up and checked the kitchen, bathroom- even looked out side and saw her car. I thought she must have decided to go back out with another friend. So I sat on the edge of the bed, putting my boots back on and left(felt strange staying for some reason). When I got home, I text her a message saying, "Where did you go? Well, hope you had fun, call me later." or something like that. Later she calls all confused like, "Where did
you go? I woke up and you were gone!" I was dumbfounded! I mean, how could I not see her laying right beside me? Got dressed right there, even sitting on the bed again!
I joked that she must have slipped into another dimension!

It still baffles me to this day. I told another friend who just said I must have been drunk.

Maybe, but I doubt it.
