Been waiting so bloody long for a live album by Leftfield and they finally released it recently... it arrived this morning.

To say it's good is the understatement of the century! :hypo:

It's absolute bliss...

I love this album. Dark and upbeat at the same time. A very good night time lying in bed headphone listen :)

Coming in at a CD stretching 74 mins, this album actually took me a few weeks to get into. Once I did though, I couldn't stop listening to it.
It's kind of dark, a bit weird, psychadelic-ish, a rich tapestry of sounds and riffs and strange guitar noises :chuckle: Heavy, tight, mysterious...Ahh, I'm not great at describing albums :chuckle:

One of my favourites anyway :smoking:

I dunno about that, psketti, but I do have pretty varied musical tastes. Another good album I dug out recently for a listen is this one: Reverence, by Faithless:



That particular track, Drifting Away, is lovely!

I have also been listening to Beethoven's Symphony No. 6! So as you can see, my tastes are pretty broad! :)

Self titled debut (and only) album from an exciting coming together of Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age, Dave Grohl of Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and the legendary John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin.
The musicianship is excellent as expected, and the album is full of interesting sounds and dynamics...I'm a bit crap at explaining stuff like that :D Look it's a good album :chuckle: It gets better with every listen :)

I love this album, a bit dark, a bit twisted, a bit odd, a lot brilliant :D
It was said that if you like this album on your first listen, there's something wrong with you... :emb: :D
