those guys are great, i love to see them play and be happy. their lives are so simple and honest we could learn a lot. its our duty to protect our animal friends. seems like our nature is to fight nature. maybe we have advanced enough to become a part of it again and work with momma.
i know right.. wtf has that got to do with gorillas. i just mean our meat and brains are a blessing and a curse.
anyway.. you pulling some great vids out today, i love em

Maybe if we'd just stop fucking the joint up and preying on critters for trophies they wouldn't need us to protect them from us.
It's got everything to do with Gorillas, and tigers, and polar bears ........

I love the (apparently*) simple wisdoms of the indigenous nomadic peoples who lived with nature, saw everything as integrated, patiently observed and learnt from their brothers and sisters on the land and in the air. Honoured a life when it was taken for nourishment. Wasted nothing and moved with the seasons. They cherished the mother and she cherished them right back.
*"It does not require many words to speak the truth".
Chief Joseph
"We must protect the forests for our children, grandchildren and children yet to be born. We must protect the forests for those who can't speak for themselves such as the birds, animals, fish and trees." Qwatsinas - Nuxalk Nation
Behold, my brothers, the spring has come; the earth has received the embraces of the sun and we shall soon see the results of that love! Every seed has awakened and so has all animal life. It is through this mysterious power that we too have our being and we therefore yield to our neighbours, even our animal neighbours, the same right as ourselves, to inhabit this land. Yet hear me, my people, we have now to deal with another race - small and feeble when our fathers first met them, but now great and overbearing. Strangely enough they have a mind to till the soil and the love of possessions is a disease with them . . . They claim this mother of ours, the earth, for their own, and fence their neighbours away; they deface her with their buildings and their refuse. They threaten to take [the land] away from us. My brothers, shall we submit, or shall we say to them: "First kill me before you take possession of my Fatherland."
Sitting Bull at the Powder River Council, 1877.

and we're still trying to figure how to wrench it back from the greedy bastards today.

The ape has evolved to a level of non violent communication with humans, the bear and the big cat's haven't, what's the cause or link they feel with us?

Note..........I know some lions like their human, but not in the same way as a gorilla.

Wow...that's amazing. Cheers Rick and Feather.
