Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition launches on 18th September 2012, Beamdog has announced.

It costs $19.99. If you pre-purchase you save $2.

Enhanced Edition, built on an upgraded version of the Infinity Engine, includes the entire Baldur's Gate adventure, the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack, and new content, including a new adventure and three new party members.

There's a new collection of player character voice sets, native support for high resolution widescreen displays and improved multiplayer support, with connectivity between all platforms.

Cheap as chips for what is essentially 4 games.

I am sold.

UUUUU How did I miss hearing about this? I bloody LOVED this game (plz don't ruin it, plz don't ruin it)
I just got Dark Souls on PC but I gotta say its disappointing and very very annoying.

2 RPGs I have enjoyed this year though are Risen 2 and Two Worlds 2. I recommend both.

I had the original Baldur's Gate just didn't get into it,looking back I should have,did the Quake2 online and played D2 offline obsessively,the thing that sort of confused me with Baldur's Gate was the character movement,I need to look into this more Mikey

I loved q2. Lithium q2 especially, probably the fastest online fps ever.

Did you get into Unreal or Unreal Tournament at all,I really liked regular Unreal and that game was the first online experiences I had in gaming,then some regular Quake but mostly Quake 2 online

Oh The Edge... I love that map too. Specially when on the upper levels with rail/rocket combo...

Cool to see womebody is doing something worthwile to Baldur's Gate.. Great game that is.

two of my fav. games evar have txt graphics.. dwarf fortress, nethack. i recommend them both if you like fantasy games and have imaginations. its fun to be fed eye candy, but i really enjoy the depth, uniqueness, re playability, and the exploration factors of them.
