Thank you for taking the reply hugo, and I'm glad you didn't take it personal, because it certainly wasn't meant.
It would seem therefore that we both agree on the 'concept' of the show, that it is all a charade/fix etc. You with your contacts on the production team, and myself with friends who know of locals who have entered.

My little sister sent off for applications to xfactor and Britain's got talent a couple of years ago. Her intention was to get me to go to the tryouts and she was a bit upset when I went into one about it.
I sang with a few acts in my early 20s - my Mum still has grainy footage of me on stage with The Real Thing - and I am always dragooned into singing at family functions.
But the thought of being involved in one of those shows gives me the willies.
