Going old school for this first one


It has all the conspiracy buttons pushed: experiments in secret labs, military scientis tucking up the world etc

highly recommended

and then this is beautifully strange tale that is somehow akin to Alice in Wonderland


it has nothing to do with Disney btw and is the best animated film that I know of

the last one features a good friend of ours

a few other anime that I can really really recommend

the first is the famous Totoro which, if you have kids, they will love and parents will love watching it too



then there is the great Nausca of the Valley of the Four Winds which is about our relationship with the natural world and man's obsession with war



finally this is strictly for those that enjoy crying there eyes out



It is the story of two orphans in the aftermath of WW2

Would make a pacifist of Genghis Khan

I've not noticed this thread before either. I bought Spirited Away & Howl's Moving Castle for my kids years ago. We all watched them though.

They're great films Gilly. My and my lad love them
