Thanks for the reminder of what is beautiful in the world,

I have to say, having experienced first hand the company of lovely dogs all my life, that if you have such a gentle creature in your home they remind you very much of the simple pleasure to be found in each others' company.

I watched a programme many years ago about some tribe or other (don't remember much about them) who lived aside a river, and they had to take precautions to stop wild orangutans from keep pinching their boats and joyriding in them. Otherwise, they'd locate their boats miles down the river, crashed, with orangutans scurrying away, going, "It wasn't me - I never took your boat, honest". Hehehe! :D
