:O

Roll a fat one and listen to Pretty Vacant stretched into 38 minutes worth of 'soundscape'

This is what classical music was trying to achieve :P

I found it fucking intense!

A track I obviously associate with it's aggression and 'speed' ;) and having heard it what must be at least a 4 figure amount of times then suddenly hearing every last detail...the hairs were standing up all over....there's a moment in the 26 min+ area.... the 'silent' moment after "And Nooooow"........as close as I'll get to spiritual!

A very interesting observation chronologically, from an independent observer, as in he weren't born!

As an overall experience I'm finding some sort of confirmation about the LSD based 'theories' of music and 'time'.

He heard a lot of me playing Hawkwind whilst in the womb actually.

Also the tetris tune, courtesy of his mum, who did nothing else but play it for 9 months. No wonder he's a gaming addict...

I'm wondering how they did that... because if you time stretch anything more than about 5% of its original value, it degrades the signal massively and introduces horrible artefacts that normally make anything un-listenable.

Seeing this has led me on a path to finding out how it's done... and I have now a really interesting piece of software that can do this.
So nice 1!

I think it's a vast improvement.

They should have played this shit at enormous volume instead of her lip synching the national anthem. With huge video screens showing Predator drones bombing weddings and homeless Americans living in tent cities and stuff. It would have been the most fitting inauguration in history.

Ha!
Yes that would be both amusing & sad at the same time. Just like watching all those flag waving tossers.

This software has a 'hyperstretch' mode... which allows stretching of 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 times the original amount. Am thinking of whacking some epic Pink Floyd into it & listening to it until I die.
Seriously good stuff... even Pro Tools (cunts) can't do this!

What's this software? I'm a fan of soundscapes that sound a bit dark

Or evil.

I want to stretch weird music and make it weirder.
