Has anyone on here seen it? It's the best t.v. series that I've ever seen, and it's just a bit of a heads up for those who have watched it to say that the final part of season five started last night in America, and so is available via torrent.

If you've never seen it and are looking for something to watch, then give it a go
But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma,
a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you.. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!

If you asked me whether or not I have a t.v., I would have said no.

But do carry on with your spam.

Crime thriller series and a damn good one actually.
Lots of twists and angles, well acted.

Its about a guy who is straight, never breaks the law, gets cancer thinks hes little time and starts making crystal meth and its a downward spiral from there. I like it :)

The whole series up to s05e08 is on netflix, the just kicked off with s05e09 on tv now.
Its on eztv.it too ofc.

I'm with LG on this one.

I prefer other forms of brainwashing, like being on here.

It's difficult to say what genre it is Gilly, as it's completely unique. But the storyline, acting, atmosphere and character development is just like nothing I've seen before. That's probably not saying much as I haven't had a t.v. for as long as I can remember, but I do *borrow* stuff to watch from time to time.

The basic premise is about a gifted chemistry teacher who finds out he has cancer and decides to enter the very murky world of crystal meth production so he can supply for his family after he's gone. There's a lot more to it than that though, obviously, but would take me ages to try to explain.

Some of the episodes are just masterpieces in cinema in my opinion.

I don't mind tv, just so long as its tv series like this or the odd film or two.
There's no brainwashing involved, just entertainment is all.

If it was TOWIE of course then I'd be saying its a pile of crap :)

Crystal Meth...

Physical effects can include anorexia, hyperactivity, dilated pupils, flushed skin, excessive sweating, restlessness, dry mouth and bruxism (leading to "meth mouth"), headache, accelerated heartbeat, slowed heartbeat, irregular heartbeat, rapid breathing, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, high body temperature, diarrhea, constipation, blurred vision, dizziness, twitching, insomnia, numbness, palpitations, tremors, dry and/or itchy skin, acne, pallor, and – with chronic and/or high doses – convulsions, heart attack, stroke, and death...

Pretty much the same as me, although when something is as well made as BB, it's pretty hard to ignore.

Breaking Bad: Why doesn't the UK have a crystal meth problem?

The US is not alone in its experiences. In the Czech Republic, where it is known as Pervitin, it's a more serious problem than heroin, while in Greece a cheap and dangerous variant called sisa reportedly sells for two euros a hit. In New Zealand and Australia the UN estimates that it is used by about 1% of the population...

"Dear parents and siblings" - - - "It's tough out here, and I hope you'll understand if I'm only able to write to you once every 2 to 4 days soon. Today I'm writing you mainly to ask for some Pervitin .; Love, Hein."

It's good to see that they're not going to flog it to death either.. Just three more episodes left now I think.

And the latest episode was pretty awesome, it has to be said. Although it's quite literally the only thing I watch so I don't really have anything to compare it with.

TBF, if you said any more than that, you'd ruin it for those that have not yet seen it. I agree, it is brilliant. I also own a TV but don't receive a signal. My ex used to download it (legally, I'm sure) :umm: and we'd watch it like that.

I never catch decent series' until they're a few years old, for some reason. If it was up to me, I'd just have Netflix & download things on the lap-top. I like it when I find something I like, and watch the episodes back to back for a couple of hours at a time.

Thanks for the descriptions - I'll look out for it.
