I'm after a free Mp3 editor its got to be free, or shareware... I've googled some tried and down loaded audacity it did't cut the mustard :conf:

I want to edit out Lyrics on a song as i've stated audacity didn't quite cut it any Ideas would be great.. :emb:

Usually the vocals can only be 'removed' if they are centre panned.
The thing is that you will naturally lose other elements/instruments in the same frequency band.
I would have suggested Audacity to be honest with your "free" criteria, (the latest version has that facility under it's 'effects' menu). but if you're saying that didn't do the job, I have nothing else to offer.

Here's Audacity's wiki which includes a link to the latest version.

Seriously though, Batou's suggestion of trying to track down a karaoke version of the song might be the best idea.
