You just enable 'personal hotspot' stick the phone in the window for the best signal and join the wifi network on your laptop with the password you set on the phone for it, et voila.

What version of Android have you got installed on the phone? Does your telco package allow tethering? Assuming that its tethering you're trying to achieve.



EDIT: That's not for your phone by the way but there should be a similar solution.

It'll the three.co.uk where you are ofc apprentice. The deal might be slightly different but I'd expect even better if anything as its the UK.

Best bet is to borrow a mates phone who is with 3 mobile and see what the signal is like at your place.

I certainly don't bother with pay as you go, mind you I'm self employed so the contract ones are easier to sort the billing for the lovely jubbly tax deduction...
