Anyhoooooooo, edited my profile to change my location and realised my location doesn't show up, never did(?). Help!

Okay oi, click onto your profile, you'll see a blue bar going across the screen. On the right the blue bar you'll see 'edit' click it and go to 'profile information' then go to 'personal text' you can put your location in there or whatever you want and it will show up under your avvy

I hope I've explained well, it's late and shit! There's instructions or a post about it somewhere, but I can't remember where.

Oi, the actual real "location" field, shows up as that little house icon at the bottom of your profile, it comes up when scrolled over.

So yeah, as you figured out, there is no written text "location" as such, like the vBulletin forums.

However, the personal text area lets you write whatever you like.

I even wrote the word "Location:" in there, well you can see the result in my profile.

I am moving this into Community chest, as it can answer others who have the same question.

The community chest category is the place for technical questions etc
