I'm beeping too, abs! The sound on my lappy comes and goes for some reason but it's OK at the moment and has been beeping away like mad this morning! I've no idea what's causing it but it is indeed doing my head in also! :conf:

Anyone out there experiencing the same phenomenon today?!

Hi guys, yes badfish and andy are right its a new chat we are trying, you can all access it from the chat menu... fast chat > popup

the beeps when you post a message are coming thru to the forum so some settings probably need adjusting, its being looked at now.

its the new chat we are trying, the window only appears if you are messaged by someone on it, then you can bring up the chat over the forum.

but yeah the sound needs to be killed.

I've had this problem in the past with sites that have embedded chatrooms attached. I opened up page info in Firefox and found a couple cookies that referred to blasphe-chat and removed the cookies and notification sounds disappeared. :woot:
