It's really easy and not very much different from posting in the forum, although you have the opportunity to play with html and some css if you want to. And don't forget this doesn't need to be a personal page like some facebook or myspace rip off. Em i'm possibly being really thick, but does the editing function not contain an option to delete? I was messing about trying to get the hang of it and now I can't delete my "entry".

I had a go at starting a my zone page last night. I very quickly ran into a lack of skills
I did manage to get a few pics up though I had issues with getting text to sit next to each picture so I ended up ditching the text. I'd like to have another page with some pics of things I do for work too, is that possible?

For some reason, pasting the link to the my zone page in my profile doesn't seem to work. The little globe appears but when you click it, it's a dead link. Is that a bug?

I think someone's tried to help me with my zone but sadly a page of photos has now disappeared

There is a major update for the myzone component and I haven't had a chance to test it yet. The alternative is to apply it and see what breaks which could cause a loss of data if things don't go as expected. Part of the new version addresses some of the URL routing issues which should fix the link issue. Another problem is that there is another extension which manages images that is auto sizing the images in the myzone pages. The extension isn't processing or respecting the override that should stop that behavior. I will need to contact the developer to see if there is an alternative solution, which I can't do until we are on the latest version.

I have edited your page and added some notes which may go someway towards explaining some of the code required to do basic formatting. To get into some more fancy stuff would require a little html and css knowledge which isn't really worth getting into while the images scaling issue is present.

On your second page I have used the images twice one is in a linear format and the other is a gallery style. You can remove the section that you don't want.

In the OP there is some information about how to add your avatar image to your myzone page.
