I think I have the solution.

Todays News as was.

A sub forum 'Case Files' or summat, where those wishing to make a thread sticking solely to the 'facts' can duplicate there Todays News thread or just have the 'facts' thread.

Anything in the 'Case files' I'll leave as is, owt in Todays News gets filed away in a more appropriate forum a month after it 'dies'.

I dont want to ban anyone. I want everyone to grow the fuck up. Too much to ask?

I also dont want whatever I saw to automatically be taken as forum policy just because of the rank under my name either as everything I say, unless otherwise stated, is completely off my own back. That's what makes this part of the 'job' difficult as people tend to assume I'm pulling rank when I get involved and I ain't.
