Not sure if this the best area to ask, but do many of you use your mobile phones to browse this forum? I've got an old htc android phone and when browsing this forum it cuts half of the page off when holding the phone normally, although it can be used sideways just about!

Is there a mobile version of this site? Has anyone else had similar issues?

I had a quick look and I couldn't find a similar thread on this.

It's not a biggie, I was just wondering.

As far as i know the site should adjust to different devices by default, but im not 100% sure on that or if that has been modified.

Frog uploaded the current site template and tweaked the settings so I cant exactly be sure what he did. He isnt available at the moment.

I think there *may* have been a button to switch from desktop to mobile, but again dont quote me on that. Whether there was and its not showing for some reason or has been removed, i cant be sure right now. Again, i had a quick look at the template and the settings are standard for the devices listed, and as far as i can gather, the site is supposed to adjust for the devices...

Droplr

I dont know if Frog has removed any css that makes switching buttons disappear without some digging around.

There was a thread about it here a while back...

Thanks for that. I just checked the mobile and it actually does default to using the mobile mode, but for the forum to fit, you have to turn the phone sideways. It then does fit perfectly.

So it is usable, I'll have a play around with it and get used to it. I often like to browse when I'm on the train.. etc.

download opera mini www.operamini.com/mobile/
Then click on the red letter O in the bottom right hand corner, click on settings and highlight single column view, that should fix it.

Don't forget to switch the single column view off when you want to look at other websites.
