I made a thread here a few weeks about Aspergers effect on Americas new teen superstar.

Very sad day here in the US today...

I wan't to just scream "why can't humans behave better"

But i have had to deal with kids on the autistic spectrum so i understand it's not that simple.

I have worked in the pubic school system for the last 4 years coaching high school basketball and had to deal with alot of teenage kids shooting each other. I have had shootings right in the gym during games I have coached. I had to lock kids and parents in the locker room during shooting's when thousands of people were in the gym.

But this shooting was little kids and i'm not ready to talk about it right now.

I watched Obama's speech on the tv where I could see much better and I have to say that he looked sincerely shook up.

If he wasn't sincere, at least it is an improvement over either Bush president who could never wipe those smug smirks off their faces not matter how inappropriate it was.

Similar to what you said about James Bulger, my Sarah was the same age as Sarah Payne when she was abducted. When she was playing in her room with some friends one evening, one of them got in a panic (which quickly spread to the others) over seeing a red car pull up outside, because she'd seen talk of a red car on the news, connected with that investigation. Little kids scared out of their wits. It does tear you up!

I know exactly what you are talking about here. I've taken drama classes and I know the score. And I was like this at his silence . It was a little too perfect. And believe me, when he was flicking his tears I got in real close to see if there was anything there. And I think I saw something! It did occur to me that he could have onion juice on the tips of his fingers. Seriously. You never fucking know. I also thought his pallor could be intentional by not moisturizing, powdering and whatever else they normally do to him. He was a'natural.

ETA: On the news, before they showed his speech, they showed a picture of him with a tear out of his eye. Totally photoshopped.

I never knew this. Do you think that this could have shaken him up? The memory of it?

To be honest I don't think Obama give a rats ass any how, he only made a Speech, of what of course he's the president of United States Of America:roll:

I don't want to be insensitive, or petty, in this thread, but regarding Obama's tears, if you look at all the pictures that are being carried now, they are all variations of this:

Doesn't mean anything, maybe, but interesting in the social media context of things, only because all the news stories make mention of Obama "tearing up" today.

Like I said earlier, I did see a picture that looked photoshopped on the television and if I knew which channel I saw it on I would try to find it because it did not look real at all.

Due to the nature of the thread it is kind of awkward to make this post because there are so many aspects to it.

Because they are pieces of shit who want to create the most pain, heartache and drama. People like that have no sense of love, obviously, its meaningless to them, but they know it is not to others.

I don't necessarily think this will be used for gun control. Unless it is some type of control making it harder to get one. We will see how that goes. There are too many guns out there for anyone to ever try to confiscate them and the government knows this.

The media is very focused on gun control issues at the moment, radio print and tv, this is the discussion. While everyone is talking about guns, schools will start quietly implementing microchip systems for security, starting off with necklaces. That is the real danger. They will never get the guns away. But they can easily implement a more secure society with microchips.

I didn't realise there'd been attacks on schools in China. This one, again, was a primary school, and motive unknown. Horrible as it was, at least there were no deaths - maybe because there were no guns involved.
