Its already happened in Italy and wouldn't surprise me if I've missed a country or two already.

Now while FG and FF are hardly polar opposites (more like libdem and tory in the UK which have already joined forces there ofc) this is hardly in the 'best interests' of the people as it reduces democratic choice...but that was the whole aim all along
