I've never heard of "Liberation Theology" until now, very interesting stuff from what I have just read, I've always maintained that Marxism was based on Judeo-Christianity, in that Jesus suffered for your sins so you should suffer for the collective. It's all about the victims sacrificing themselves like their imaginary sky fairies so the myth creators can rape their children while sitting on thrones of gold.

How would you draw some simple distinctions between Marxism and liberation theology in terms of how it would be applied?
