It is very interesting that DIF has the 70k registered users, but that number really is completely irrelevant it seems... It's so odd, how small group seemed to make the forum. If it's not dead yet, it's having a bad necrosis...

but administrators can just create thousands of users out of nothing, i could do it now if i wanted, dont even need to go to the trouble of valid emails etc for each one, as they can be activated manually....but of course the giveaway is activity of those accounts...its one thing to create accounts (relatively easy) its another to try sock puppet them all (near impossible )

anyway thats my 2c, there aint really 70k ACTIVE users there one way or another...real or not...perhaps a core of a few thousand that are generally active from the looks of it.

I'd say over 50% of all users at DIF have never posted a word. Maybe I'll take a look to the members list.
