Nup especially when it come's to food. I haven't received a electric bill yet but have been informed of the price rise and nothing is stated about the amount of Carbon Tax in that price rise.

The GST, which is the equivalent to VAT, it shown on food and petrol bills but I dont think it will be the case with C Tax as the law states you are not allowed to tell the customer the price increase is due to C Tax.

Totalitarianism anyone? :bat:

The current PM will be gone by the next election, if not sooner, lol her own party is sending out signals thats she';s not good enough because the polling shows she is VERY unpopular, the so called opposition party are making claims that they will get rid of the Tax if they are elected. lol yeah right!

I actually see the EU picking up and doing really well economically after the 100% digital switch, thats probably how they'll sell it, along with charge free banking for using digital (charging for cash machine usage etc)
It won't be implanted chips for quite a while, just progressive plastic/NFC on mobiles etc.

I wonder how long it will be b4 u guys have the Carbon tax we got in aussie. we are a testing ground :aargh: :secret:

Max Igan was saying that OZ will be the motivator for the EU to fully adopt the Carbon Tax as it will make the trading scheme more viable.

It's hitting hard here, EVERYTHING has gone up and the price rise in electricity isn't 10% as they claim it's more like 25%.

I would expect tax to be itemised because businesses will be claiming it back.
Why would it be applied to food btw?

It has been applied to food for years.
If you buy a fried chicken, it costs more. If you buy a pie that is heated up, it costs more. If you buy anything that is considered pre-cooked, or pre-packaged, its costs more.
Say... if you buy some onions and you pick them out yourself, it is less. If they are in a 1k bag, it costs more.
The game is rigged. The food thing is totally crappola. we are a testing ground...

A bit of confusion there.

The Goods &Services Tax which is a VAT is on food, everything it is itemized on the shopping bill. The corporation or small business collects it for the Gov.

With the Carbon Tax not quite sure as it's just been bought in and I haven't looked into it. My guesses are that we the consumer wont see it for there is a $23.00 tax on one tonne of carbon produced. The consumer wont know how much the corporation/Small business is producing carbon, and that suits the gov as then the people wont be any wiser to the amount of tax they are paying they'll just get a price increase.

Freighting food, and electricity and/or fuel bills for food producers. Most food is trucked around in Oz over distances. And many crops in oz arent grown with rainfall, grains and cereals are, but most fruit and veg is grown with irrigation, and that needs water pumps hence power.

Now the government has been very sketchy about how higher electricity bills would affect food producers.

In fact i have seen industry leaders in various sectors of food production ask questions specifically about their electricity bills, and get no answers, despite the government claiming food producers wont be affected.

Lots of irrigated crops especially on the murray darling basin run large electric water pumps and many of the large acreage operations on the murray are suprisingly hooked up to the grid...there is power grids/infastructure running all along the murray valley and sturt highway for example....alot of money has been spent by food producers there who are being turned into not much more than slaves for the big 2 supermarkets in oz that together control 80% of the packaged goods market.

These areas are home to the largest fruit, veg, orchards and potato and onion production...including the largest potato producers in the southern hemisphere...and they are pretty much all being payed peanuts atm by the big 2.

The irrigated food production that isnt hooked up to the grid, in cases where mains is too far away....like some groundwater (well water) areas...well they still use diesel or diesel/LPG injection pumps, and that fuel will be carbon taxed...again people are unsure of what will happen.

And again most of the fruit, veg, potatoes, onions etc still needs further processing, usually they are harvested and trucked to the cities or larger regional centres and then processed/packaged in facilites hooked up to mains power. Even raw potatoes need washing and/or sorting for example.

see how it all links in? So its not even prepackaged or cooked foods as curtaincat said...its pretty much all food that needs (carbon taxed) electricity.

I spoke to a real estate agent 2 weeks ago that deals with the largest irrigated food producing areas in australia, and he told me he has never seen it so bad...a lot of people want out, selling, and the buyers arent there. For various reasons i wont get into here...that is a thread of its own. Uncertainty about the carbon tax is one reason though. He sells everything from small farms to multi million dollar operations...or at least is trying to now :hahano: he told me he got a second job its that bad, and he works for one of the main 2 big name rural agencies in australia.

Ofc with globalisation and free trade all being set up now by tptb...first world food producers are now having to compete with 3rd world operations, some owned by billionaires...who use cheap labour, the people work all day in china and india for example for 1 or 2 dollars.

Ofc jimmy goldsmith told us some of this in the nineties...

sanctumzone.co.uk/forum/Economics--Finan...ldsmith-in-1994.html

more about shifting food production to 3rd world cheap labour, and that name comes up again :hahano:

rense.com/general78/rothw.htm

The way i see it, food producers in australia will be burdened and taxed so much, that they either effectively become slaves, or give it up completely....and im talking about the larger producers becoming effective slaves...high output and turnover, little profit...some of these operations turn over hundreds of millions of dollars particularly some of the centre pivot veg, potato and onion operations, but they are all now at the mercy of globalist woolworths and wesfarmers...woolworths having the majority instututional shareholders of yep you guessed it, blackrock inc and vanguard :hahano:
