The venus project is not communism because

b) It has no money.
a) Any of the advocates of VP I have spoken to, when pushed have admitted that they're willing to use violence and expect it to come through a violent marxist type revolution, they don't want to speak about that up front obviously. The primary concern of these people is something along the lines of "income/resource equality". EVERYTHING comes after that, including human life.
If it's voluntary, then it's not communism. Perhaps it was just the individuals I came across. It looks nightmarish to me, if you find some of the original plans that The Bolsheviks had drawn up for their Utopian Cities propaganda they're eerily like Frescoes. There is no more efficient way of determining efficient use of resources than free monetary systems, Communist Russia is the prime example of this, the problem wasn't that they were using paper to make their calculations.
b) Right, they make money irrelevant/illegal. Money in Statist systems us used as a proxy for control of resources, it's the method , not the goal. VP allows for a more direct and central control of the resources bypassing the need for money. The goal of communism is met more efficiently.
c)

The next argument you will here is usually, "but nobody controls the resources, it's allocated by computer".
Of course that's another proxy as computers do not program themselves.
It has features of direct democracy, free choice work and learning and leisure and no monetary system.
The idea is certainly something to aspire to, I have no objection to it really apart from the building designs but then again thats only a suggestion rather than some kind of mandatory stipulation, indeed it would be impossible to move towards such a scenario without making use of whats already in place anyway and again the only societal system which exists that could work towards a world without money is anarcho-syndicalism because people would learn to co-operate on a level that approaches being possible to consider something like TVP.
Basically if you object to TVP then you actually support the present system which is akin to saying you're a bit thick tbh...
TVP is just a technological upgrade on what is already in place, just like parliamentary democracy was an upgrade on monarchy or feudalism.
*I just want to reiterate, if I am incorrect , and it is voluntary, then I have absolutely zero issue with it.*
BTW Fresco has close ties to the UN.
He seems to like posing with royalty and the like.

It's the same pattern over and over and over.
"George Hunt was present at the 'Fourth World Wilderness Congress' (he explains what that means later in the video) and noticed that it had very little to do with the conventional environment movement and was surprised to see people like Maurice Strong, Edmund de Rothschild (Pilgrims Society), David Rockefeller (Pilgrims Society), and James A. Baker (Pilgrims Society; Cap & Gown; trustee American Institute for Contemporary German Studies; Atlantic Council of the United States; National Security Planning Group; Bohemian Grove; CFR; Carlyle; advisor George W. Bush in his 2000 election)."I suggest therefore that this be sold not through a democratic process - that would take too long and devour far too much of the funds - to educate the cannon fodder, unfortunately, that populates the earth." (David Lang, a Montreal International Banker)."

"The idea of the Earth Charter originated in 1987, when the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development called for a new charter to guide the transition to sustainable development. In 1992, the need for a charter was urged by then-Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali at the Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit, but the time for such a declaration was not believed to be right. The Rio Declaration became the statement of the achievable consensus at that time. In 1994,
Maurice Strong (Chairman of the Earth Summit) and Mikhail Gorbachev, working through organizations they each founded (the Earth Council and Green Cross International respectively), restarted the Earth Charter as a civil society initiative, with the help of the government of the Netherlands.[2]"
