Today a former member of Goldman Sachs spoke with King World News about the elites’ horrifying “sabotage of Western civilization.” William Kaye, who 25 years ago worked for Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions, also warned that what is coming is a terrifying and “increasingly fascist control of the economy and the populations of the various Western nations.” Below is what the outspoken Hong Kong fund manager had to say.
Eric King: “Bill, what I am hearing from you is that the West is destroying itself. The elites may be positioning themselves to profit from this collapse, but they are destroying the West in the process.”
Kaye: “That certainly appears to be the case. A lot of these policies don’t make any sense. We’ve typically focused in these discussions on monetary policy, but there is a lot more that could be brought into this discussion if we want to talk about the sabotage of Western civilization.
“We have deficits that are clearly out of control, and can’t possibly be funded. Then there is this new health care in the United States, which is basically a subsidy for the insurance industry, and a control mechanism for the population in general. This has radically increased health-care costs for Americans.
These are typical of the policies that are not working the way people are told they are supposed to work, but that are really designed to further enslave and control populations. That’s what is going on for people who are paying attention, but unfortunately most people in the West, and certainly in America, are too busy being distracted by the mainstream media and television networks to see what’s unfolding.
So people in the West are increasingly distracted and are not paying attention to individual liberties being eroded, and the bleak future that lies ahead.”
Eric King: “As you watch this unfolding from Hong Kong, did you ever think you would see anything like this?”
Kaye: “I never thought I would see anything like this. The way that Americans have allowed their liberties to be stolen from them, I did not think I would witness this in my lifetime or my children’s lifetimes. This is very disheartening and sad. I keep wondering when people will get fed up and not be willing to take it anymore.
We see the approval ratings of Congress at all-time lows. So at least people are aware that the leaders in the West are not serving their interests. But in the larger scheme of things, I believe this is all part of a much larger move in the West toward a centralized government, with an increasingly fascist control of the economy and the populations of the various Western nations.
None of this bodes well for people in the West, but we have already seen the use of brutal force against people who have protested against this move toward fascism in places like Greece, Spain, and Italy. That use of brute force will most likely intensify and it will also be used in other countries where people resist. So, yes, it is very sad to see the Western world that I remember being destroyed.”
