Thank you for your suggestions, peeps (except for irrie, who was no use at all

).
I never usually get bitten by mozzies unless, I've noticed before, I've had an alcoholic drink!

Then the busturds consider me a free bar. Last night I went out for a drink with friends (just one) and hey-ho, today I've got 15+ bites on me. Two on my back and the one on my big, fat lily-white buttum (I know, too much information

) and like big sores.

I must have had a right go at them through the night; and today I've caught myself at them several times without noticing - lovely view, I'm sure: me walking the dog and scratching my buttom

.
I'm going for a swim now just to be in the water, thank you andy, then off to the supermarket to look for throat spray and ambre solaire aftersun, as pheony (the Garnier rep) suggests.

I need some aftersun anyway - it's come on us very suddenly and taken me by surprise.
I had the idea of bicarb floating around in my head, Abs - it's so good for many things, so I'll put some of that on later. Netting is going to have to be bought too - there's a huge apple tree outside the bedroom window, which brings the buggas in.
And batou, I recognise the photo of the plantain. It's all over our grass verges here so I'll grab some later and use that too. It's not the same as dock leaf, is it? Dock leaf is so brilliant for nettle stings.
But right now I have these horrible, red, bleeding, seeping sores with large lumps under the skin.... just thought I'd share that with you all.
Thanks, everyone.
