Chocolate Hobnobs :D I don't mind plain ones but I much prefer chocolate. Chocolate makes every biscwit better :chuckle:

I'd like a cup of real ground coffee one day. Instant is okay though.

Now I fancy a cup with biscwits, the problem is, they're in the shop :cry:

What are bruised nettles?

Hi irrie. :D Tulsi is lovely - but I've always had to order it in through a health shop, or you can buy it off the internet. I've never seen it just for sale anywhere.

Basically, as soon as you pull off nettle leaves you've bruised them a bit; but after washing and just before you put them in a pot to make the tea, give them a bit of rough handling or bashing about, to "bruise" the leaves and help the water get to what's in them. :)

I'll do more poking around about the Tulsi :D I'll definitely give it a try one day :)

I've been cutting down and ripping up Nettles for years, thinking they were just a nasty weed :emb: :facepalm:

nettles are sposed to be good for your hair too. i think its pretty much nettle tea, and you put it on your hair.
it was in some kind of book i read when i was a kid. not very helpful i know.

Nettle tea is sort of like any other tea, irrie - you can make it as strong or weak as you like! A good handful of leaves makes a nice cuppa (but wear your marigolds :D ).

Also, cook it gently, like spinach, and have it with your Sunday roast. S'lovely.
