Barefeets the way to be. And don't even start me on people who wear socks in bed :axe:

*shivers at the very prospect*

Pskettis tip for today - the absolute BEST thing to clean your feet and also to keep fungal things etc at bay, is to soak them in warm water with Baking Powder. Try it

The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you.. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!

A Balti (Balti: བལི་, Urdu: بلتی‎) is a type of curry served in a thin, pressed steel wok-like "balti bowl". It is served in many restaurants in the United Kingdom. The precise origins of the Balti style of cooking are uncertain; some believe it to have been invented in Birmingham, England while others believe it originated in the northern Pakistani region of Baltistan in Kashmir from where it spread to Britain...

The balti pan is a round-bottomed, wok-like heavy cast-iron dish with two handles.... The origins of Balti cooking are wide ranging and owe as much to China (with a slight resemblance to the spicy cooking of Szechuan) and Tibet as well as to the ancestry of the Mirpuris, the tastes of the Moghul emperors, the aromatic spices of Kashmir, and the 'winter foods' of lands high in the mountains...

I tried to dig my boarder over last weekend, and had to give up due to sinking in mud. It was raining at the time, and my dogs were assisting with the digging. I'd just cleaned the floors & leather couches, which as usual, was utterly futile. Achieved little, but it was good fun. :D

Funny that sometimes you use capitals letters and other times don't. How many people are using your account?

My Sarah's been reading this, and has persuaded me to read it & do it with her.

It's about discovering foods that you're sensitive to, which apart from boosting your weight gain, can have lots of other nasty side effects too - typically depression, fatigue & migraines (but there can be lots of other symptoms too). The premise is that the foods that trigger these reactions will vary from one person to the next, and if you learn what they are & eliminate them from your diet, you will lose weight without restricting the fat or calories you eat, and feel a lot healthier for it.

Another Good tip I have read,do not mix proteins with carbs when having a meal ...

Fit for Life (FFL) is a diet and lifestyle book series stemming from the principles of Natural Hygiene. It is promoted mainly by the American writers Harvey and Marilyn Diamond.. The Fit for Life book series recommends dietary principles including eating only fruit in the morning, eating predominantly "live" and "high-water-content" food, and if eating animal protein to avoid combining it with complex carbohydrates...

I can highly recommend this diet! As a nutritionist I always recommend it for all sorts of digestive, insomnia, loss of energy and yes the proverbial weight loss. Sir John Mils ate this way most of his life as does Bruce Forsyth.....just to give recognisable examples.
