You know my 'theories' on the issue, Mel. :chuckle:

I think you should make it your mission to destroy this dino-fake and get yourself banned from the museum. They are obviously not to be trusted...

andy i think the non plastic bits are blue whale bones.

A blue whale hung there for years and years then 'disappeared' and a t rex arrived in its place

LOL, you may have a point there, sometimes the simplest explanations are the correct ones. :hahano:

With advances in modern plastics moulding, there could be a production line of these things somewhere :yeahno:

I reckon the T-Rex skeleton will eventually be replaced with the skeleton of Godzilla. That'd bring the tourists in. Might be a tad big though.

Totally off topic but spurred on by feathers Keanu picture...

I have a handmade collage picture of Keanu Reeves on my living room wall (and every living wall in the last 20 years of houses I've lived in) which contains his bare arse. Gorgeous as it was back then.

I always find a place to hang it. It's ritualistic :spliff:

Hmmm, Keanu... *wipes the dribble from her chin*

Maybe you could get them under the Trades Description Act, Melanae :D , if they are claiming it's "real" to the public and not "a replica made of plastic/blue whale bones". :ar:

Why do you think people would go to great lengths to create creatures you're implying are made up? There's no benefit to be had from that. What of the fossils of the Cambrian period? They predate dinosaurs.
Form is merely a momentary manifestation of being, not a fixed reality.

History doesn't repeat itself, uninformed people repeat history.

To all progressive endeavors great or small, come unforeseen benefits on a scale larger than most give pause or contemplation of.

I bet dinosaurs are all kinds of dragons with fancy scientific names.

Some are still in hiding, no doubt :umm:

You all know about my t-rex/kangaroo theory, right? I won't bore you with the details again here, but I'm telling you...I'm right. Look it up and don't pay any attention to those nay-sayers with their "the tail couldn't possibly support the weight" nonsense. They weren't fekking there, either. :D

Ok...you asked for it. Say that the human race at one time, was much larger in proportion than we are now. Say also, our trees and wildlife were the same. Say also that certain parties don't want you to know about this, so that when large bones are found, they are immediately dismissed as 'dinosaurs'. Say that they are not, but are actually bits of giant ancestors and their animal brethren.

Take the humble modern-day kanga:

Now, supersize it:

Dinosaur Skeleton Ceratosaurus

Now, imagine if you will, the terrifying t-rex with fur, a pouch and cute pointy up ears. Just sayin'. :chuckle: :coffee:

Hmm I can see it, yep. :pop:

My brother once came up with a theory, not sure if its entirely his, but he said that seals were related to dogs. I guess because they bark and share a likeness. I was very young and cannot remember his exact hypothesis on that.

I bet there are still huge sea serpents in the oceans. I bet :umm:
