Do you have a collection of anything,or a hobby?
Speaking for myself no indoor hobby,outdoor activities mostly,any collection I have are very limited so maybe some ideas may come to mind.

I have a massive collection of old vinyl, albums and singles and a jukebox to play the old 45's on.

Hobbies? I love the outdoors, and lurv camping.

My hobbies....well, up to a few months ago gaming...is that a hobby? Or just a gloriously fun waste of time?

Films...
The internet...
Are they hobbies? I don't think so.

Past hobbies have included collecting action figures, painting Games Workshop miniatures, model making, a bit of drawing.

I've played a bit of Quake and a bit of Unreal Rick, but I was more of a Doom man. It was my first first person shooter I've still got a copy of the Playstation version, great soundtrack and atmosphere in that.

Models do require patience, but it's very rewarding when you finish one. It started out as a few grey plastic bits, but you transform it into a nicely painted Spitfire or something, I didn't word that very well, but you know what I mean

Look at that, another who has went to Hell and back. I'm also into Doom.. I was so much into Doom Games, I knew the games inside out, had dug through all the game files to see what's in there, how all it works, mods, maps, new graphics, sounds, all that stuff was in the days work at the time.

I'm also into Quake games too, well, nearly anything from iD. I'm more of a single player type than hardcore death match player, although I still can sort out QIII bots quite easily.

My hobbies, well, my music stuff does not really count, it's getting close to a profession and a way of life... No, it doesn't pay me anything. My hobbies, I used to paint quite a lot, even went to artschool, but it didn't do much good. I used to play games a lot too. That has been the only hobby for me in years actually.

I haven't played much lately though, music, housekeeping and few close friends and internet forums take all my time.

At the risk of "outing" myself as a complete nutter, I must confess to collecting china thimbles! I have literally hundreds of them. There are 22 thimble cases adorning our lounge wall! The themes I concentrate on include cats, National Trust properties, places we've been and country scenes. OH has collected a few thimbles with a "manly" theme - namely, RNLI, the Forces and concorde.

Other hobbies (depending on time and energy levels) include creative writing, reading, listening to audio books and knitting.

I also watch far more telly than is good for me!

Yeah I used to love modelling Mandy so I'm inspired to hear your OH is into it I would like to get back into it, if my video game ravaged mince pies allow me that is I'll give it a shot

Ah yeah you mentioned your love of thimbles in the past There must be loads out there actually. I bet you get mega excited when you find a new one Maybe even hand flap!

My eyesight's dreadful too, BTW - so dreadful that at my last eye-test, the optician wondered if I was an undiagnosed diabetic!
I'm not, thankfully, but I did get new glasses - Varifocals, for both distance and reading, and they've been a revelation! I can actually read properly now! Even small print! Squee! So if you don't mind my saying, it might be worth you getting your eyes tested, if you haven't already.

I'm glad you got brilliant glasses Mandy I've had a good few eye tests over the years and I always seem to end up with dodgy glasses. I snapped my last pair I was trying to get a platinum trophy on a ps3 game and I kept getting blown up so I took my slightly blurry glasses off, snapped them and played the game without and won the trophy!

I'll get another test in the coming months, and hopefully get better glasses.

Instruments are my downfall.
All sorts. Not even valuable ones.
Peoples desire to make music and the ingenuity employed to make it happen fascinates me.

I have a huge collection of gold nuggets... i just put them in the back shed, dunno wot to do with them.
Also a heap of Opals in a plastic bag, just stick them in the back shed...
It is so boring..
I decided that jigsaw puzzles are far more interesting..

I like watching tele, and talking to me mates on Facebook.
I like to read (non-fiction) eg Hello magazine and similar.
