Can someone with the necessary know-how help me out avvi-wise?

I like the cold glare of my electronic eye well enough, but it's just not...well, it's just not really me.

Perhaps some nice chintzy wallpaper around the outside? Maybe change the eye colour to a nice shade of pink?

I dunno. Really, you see, I'm looking for someone with a 'queer eye' for this sort of thing. Although, I can offer a little karma fettling to the winning makeover if that sweetens the pot at all...? :norty:

Draw a circle from the centre with the selection tool.
You'll probably want to feather the selection to avoid sharp jagged edges.
Invert the selection.

Go to your 'borrowed' chintz image and chose 'copy' from the menu
Go back to your HAL image and choose 'paste into selection'

you should be done. :)

I only have Corel Paint Shop on this machine atm but you should find similar options in Photoshop.
