Aww...speaking of...you missing dubs?

He meant it then...about a break...so you guys are 'on a break'? Can I be Ross?

Seems so... :(

And no, you can't be Ross. I don't trust his evil shark-eyes.

But...but...I wanted you to be my Rachael.

Ooh! I can be Joey instead.

How you doin'?

Better?

Meh... :coffee:

Can you put on some pink spandex?

Did you ever get your basin fixed Ab's?
If not, this may help, it's for fitting a new one to the wall, but may be useful in reattaching an old one as well.

I had the same problem with mine.

Get a canister of that expanding foam stuff, its the bomb. Pull the basin away from the wall/tiles whatever, squirt the foam into the space between, then push the basin back into place and hold there for a few minutes.

It'll fix it, guaranteed.

Sincere question:

The bathroom is a moist place, usually a warm, moist place; even if for only a bit each day. What about continued absorption and expansion? Is this only a temporary fix, even if for a few years?

No offense intended. In my home state, foam is used for quickie body fills, but fails after a few months to a few years because of the very humid environment. I have no knowledge of its reaction where I now live, in a typically dry environment.

EDIT: P.S. I am in no way, shape or form a bodyman.....erm bodyperson, and have no experience as such, but am only repeating what the bodymen at my ex-shop have said and what I've seen only in a certain, sub-tropical, righteously humid environment. YOU are, of course, most familiar with your native environment.

Yes, foam is a temporary solution for a job like fixing Ab's basin to his bathroom wall. But as he's renting his gaff (he mentioned a landlord), its permanent enough for his needs. It'll hold that basin in place for a few years.

And no offence taken m' dear ;)

Thank you, sir. :)

As our dear friend is a renter, can't he place his complaint with his 'property manager'? And if the property manager says, "OK, determine the solution and take it off the bill" can't he do so?; Or simply get the repair done properly and take it off his rent with a receipt presented?

Anyway, I'm not trying to be a bugaboo (a damn Yank? :P ), just my opinion based upon personal experience. I understand laws may be different in other states and nations. :notworthy:

I could do all those things coco, probably. It's just easier if I do it myself sometimes, though. :)
