Im gonna put this in perspective folks! there's basicly two kind's of assholes.

Real Assholes: & Imaginary Assholes.

what's the diffrence?

Real assholes: are the kind you encounter everyday in the street, at your home at work, etc.

Imaginary assholes the kind you find online, but never meet, or even know what they look like, most of the time.

When you actuly sit and think about it, it's quite disturbing!

Since when did we become manipulated by Imaginary assholes?

I see what you're getting at lad... but the problem there is that the assholes you encounter online are the very same assholes you encounter throughout life

It's only the medium of communication that's different.

got to agree with sketts on this one - arseholery is often scenario dependent - that nasty wanker that goes around trolling pages of dead children on facebook may also help an old woman across the road and volunteer at the local soup kitchen.

Certain members of my family are arseholes to anyone they think of as 'staff' - waiters, shop assistants etc etc - but are generous to a fault when it comes to helping out other family members and giving time and expertise to helping charities.

We all have an inner arsehole - and we all have the choice whether or not to let it out. It is all about personal responsibility yet again - that and how much rope those around you will give before lack of personal responsibility leads to hanging oneself.

I think it's much easier to fall out with someone over the net than in real life but then again, would the level of conversation be the same? I very much doubt it..

There was one person on a forum who came across as rude, intolerant, aggressive and insulting but according to someone else who had actually MET him he isn't like that at all!

There is also someone else who gets a lot of flack for being a cheeky sod but if you met him in real life you would find him very shy!
The typed word is the worst form of communication ever as you don't hear the tone of voice or the body language which are both important parts of any conversation and also the persons make-up.. If you were to talk to them in real-time they may not be half as 'articulate' as they are just typing a few words on a screen.
Then you have mistaken people, those who are joking but don't use emoticons, are being sarcastic and the other person hasn't seen it that way.

The fallacy here is that they are imaginary.
