Sitting in my car on my lunch break, and the wind's buffeting it about quite dramatically.

Good news yesterday - they don't think my thyroid's cancerous, and are finally arranging for removal of the dodgy parathyroid(s) asap. :hypo:

It did involve some nailing the consultant to the wall and insisting on straight answers, and took 19 months to arrive at this point, but got there in the end.

What's on my mind right now . . .

Thinking about drawing a pitiful pension when I'm 70 odd. I remember when I were a lad :roll: I paid into all these company pension schemes and...for what? F-all it seems. Just a way to screw more money out of my pay packets. When jobs were aplenty, companies boasted about pension schemes but TBH this made no impact on me because pensionable age was too far off to even think about. Isn't it true that the pension in the UK is the lowest in Europe? Bastards.
