OK, have a laugh at my expense, I don't mind, still laughing at myself.....
Just acquired one of those gizzmo's to play my LP's on....yeah OK....was merrily singing along to Dennis Waterman while doing my chores.
Anyway, it suddenly went all quiet and I thought "hang on, there were a lot more tracks than that....." Went up to the gizzmo and remembered I HAD TO TURN THE 'DISC' OVER".....doh

Vinyl sounds great. I miss my old stacking hifi & LP's.

My daughter took my Technics turntable and Kenwood Trio KA 700-01 amp away just last week.
I was as well giving her those, she's already had it away with most of my vinyl!
That amp is a beast btw

In truth, I couldn't be arsed with messing around with vinyl now.

I've acquired some bits of 70's furniture, I'm going to hate doing it as they are solid bits of wood, but I got myself some Annie Sloane paint yesterday in Charcoal and burgundy...and they are getting retro'ed over the next couple of weeks! I'll have to remember to take some before and after piccy's and start a thread!
Off to turn my Soviet Army chorus over for side 2!

I used to have an online record shop and had some seriously nice vinyl pass through me hands. Ofc thos dictated i had a decent system to test play them on.
Things got silly and i ended up with an addiction to isopropyl alcohol.....
The sound of a clean good pressing on a decent turntable though....Mmmmmmmm

I've got my old mum's one...except mine has two matching knobs like the one on the right.
I will never ever get rid of it! It still works. You can even bung batteries into it! I remember my mum letting me use it to listen to Radio 1 and Caroline in my bedroom.
It still works to this day and I sometimes listen to Radio 4 (yeah I know...sign of age!) on it for a more 'authentic' sound to some of the plays etc!

I still have my Pioneer A-400 amp, Systemdeck(900) turntable, with a moth-arm, and Akito cartridge. Got an old Nakamichi tape-deck tucked away too
