What dog breed or mixed breed would you choose if you got a dog or another one?

Dachshunds are very smart.

I'm allergic to wee, furry beasties, but growing up we did have an Alsation. I have to say I'd plump for another if I could, as they are genuinely the nicest breed I think I've ever come across.

I can't really quantify "nice" unfortunately, but just temperament-wise and such.

Ours was also really protective of me, in particular, being the bairn.

I looooove this kind of dog! I think it's adorable and snuggly... of course I'm aware that this dog probably requires lots and lots of attention, but still, I find it very cute!

Jack russells because they're small & sit on your lap for cuddle-fests but they believe themselves to be enormous and invincible. :D

I've a jack, who's intelligent and wise, and a jack / yorkie cross, who's stoopid but gorgeous & funny.

If I'd room for a big dog, I'd like an airdale - but that's as well as the jacks, not instead of them.

My favourite breeds would have to be:-
1) Alsation
2) Collie
3) Labrador
4) Welsh Cardigan Corgi

I used to work with the last breed, spent 2 or 3 years training them up for shows, qualified for Crufts etc.

Would I have a dog...yes, but with 2 cats, 4 boys and a hubby I have my work cut out already :)

A mixed breed ...one that you can't tell what the hell it is .

Cute in a haphazard sort of way, intelligent, loving and spunky.
