Oh, martial arts masters! Tis a good thread Rick!

I'm into these things somewhat, did aikido but gave it up, occationally some sword fighting and stuff.. I'd love to practice some form of kenjutsu some day, there's not clubs around here. It sucks.

That movie about the life of the master was the best in my opinion,and as he mentioned that style is really good to keep you in shape,as apparently it did for him,and for the females as he mentioned it is a great style choice

I wanted to post that just to show the capabilities that people still can have at even a advanced age and all through their life, and the way of life he followed which kept him in shape,many martial artists now are getting into MMA and not as many do traditional styles, or depend or think that a traditional style will even work in a street fight.

Bruce Lee is a hero to me and always has been, he may have went more commercial media,he still was a incredible physical being,specimen whatever you would describe him as, his jeet kun do which he practiced and developed showed and informed people basically to be free to break from a rigid way of thought,and use what works for them.

You don't have to be built like a muscular monster,to be able to handle yourself against one basically,I know that in my opinion there probably may not be many replies or interest in this but I wanted to show it anyway,just for the exposure and the respect I feel for both those masters of their trade.
