I guess if you are not ready for sex with somebody, whether for religious reasons or anything else, then you are not ready and it will either happen later or it won`t. What will be will be. Maybe their lives will bring them back together one day and maybe not. I think he could have kept her around if he had really wanted to if it is true how crazy she was about him.

Maybe it was just the fact she looked good and he impressed people when they went out together,that may be what it was and his real motivation

So you think she was a trophy girlfriend maybe? Maybe he is just not ready for sex or perhaps he is not into sex or not sex with women. Who knows?

I would point out that there is more to relationships than sex of course.
