I know people who lived on the street and would get extra money for giving blood,and I have heard of places you can go to be a experimental patient, with new treatments types and medications, and receive payment for being a test patient

I would give blood to help others willingly. I wouldn't expect to be paid for it.

People in the UK give blood for free, however they wouldn't take from me as my resting heart-rate is below 60 B.P.M.

I used to make 'deposits' at a sperm bank for £20 a pop although I believe the law has been changed in some way regarding this.

The experimental thing sometimes is a weight loss program,they get food and even can live in a controlled environment to see if the particular study or the weight loss system works,and they also get paid to participate.

No, It's not worth the risk imo, as many problems with medication only come to light years after they've been on allowed on the market.

It's too risky, but if you were down on your luck and urgently needed to come up with some extra money it might start to look like a more appealing prospect.

Do they pay people to give blood over there? Wasn't there some Chinese bloke a while back who sold his kidney for an iphone or something? Apparently people go and get them from people in India for a few grand.

The developing world is where you'll find most of the organs for sale. Do you think they conduct more medical experiments in places like India? They could get away with giving an Indian person a fraction of what they would pay an American.

Personally no but it all about risk v's reward.......so some people will chose to invlolved in medical trials other wont.....

You donate blood in the uk you can't sell it .

I wouldn't consider taking meds or giving blood for cash. I'd sell scrap metal. This country is falling apart, as a majority of the money is funneled into the war machine, politicians, and corporate endeavors. There's plenty of scrap metal to be had from all of the neglect.
