The roads in this part of the World are narrow and more often than not muddy. This means frequent car washing to avoid the tin worm.
Trouble is I invariably end up with a shiny car that looks crap because the tyres have ingrained shite in the sidewalls

Does anyone know of a way of stopping this happening?

^I've tried allsorts like armorall etc and this maguirs stuff seems best , although even that only lasts a while tbh

Come on now you asked for "ways of stopping this happening" and I came up with the best way to stop it happening.

@ Andy Bah at expensive product!!!! I'm looking for an old skool solution. Like keeping your plastics black with Linseed oil.

Anyone suggesting expensive product like andy suggests will hereby suffer the smite of the PGBFWSTDBTBF.

I've got it. This is brilliant. Have two sets of tyres A brand spanking new set, and your driving tyres. Every time you go out in your car, change all your tyres to your muddy "driving" tyres. Then when you arrive at your destination, change all your tyres back to your nice clean "parking" tyres.

You asked for silliness It's a solution, a very unworkable, and time consuming one, but a solution nonetheless
