Yes.

If you've read some of my posts, you'll know I don't generally hold them in high esteem, BUT I think there are times when you've got to go and get things investigated (even if you have to 'persuade' them to investigate properly). And if their answer doesn't sound right, get a 2nd opinion.

I've no wish to fear monger, but it might be a matter of life and death. It might also be something that's easy to put right.

I avoid doctors like the plague but I think blood coming up would get me there too!

If these symptoms are yours...why are you here and not at A&E?
If these are somebody elses symptoms...why are you here and not at A&E with them?
I take it the disagreement is between you and A N Other as to whether these symptoms need a doctors attention....I think ^^^^^^ gives it a resounding "YES"

In fairness to SC the OP was posted some 20 odd minutes ago and she's offline so I think we can assume she's on it.
(We only nag cause we give a damn girl).

I always have to remind myself that Stateside a Dr/Hospital visit has $ implications which must be cause for pause occasionally.

SC was still on when I started my reply, which I got interupted whilst typing. Glad SC is offline and hope as Gilly says that it turns out to be something that's easily sorted.
Also my bad, but for some reason I thought SC was in UK. My apologies.
I second the "give a damn" bit.
Should this thread be moved to somewhere less public as it deals with someones health issues?

everything's fine btw...apparently u cough up/throw up blood when that mucus membrane thing where the esophagus and stomach connect tears from coughing or throwing up. as can pneumonia in some cases be the cause. and irregular female bleeding is caused by what appears to be scar tissue.
now arent u all glad u got medical education for the day lol
