Thanks andy... :coffee: however, tis to early for me to try and figure out what all that means (I am not a mechanic, I'm lucky I can change a flat tire and a spark plug and fuse on a car),,,I haven't even made it through my second cup of coffee yet. I will look into what you stated above and find out what these parts look like so when I take it apart I can clean them.
I came into this world kicking and screaming while covered in someone elses blood
and I have no problem with going out the same way

If you know the make and model you can probably find a manual or even a video online.

In my expert, professional opinion, it sounds like your chainsaw is a piece of crap.

The remedy is to cast it with all your strength far, far into the yard, if it doesn't properly work after that, buy another, and be sure to spend decent money on a Stihl or Husq-a-varna.

Throwing the weed eater generally fixed it, but it must be done in genuine great and livid anger only to achieve the desired reaction.

After purchasing your entirely too expensive lawn care product/device/machine/etc., be sure to check the plugs to keep them clean, make sure the oil to gas ratio is correct and use Sta-bil in the tank during the off season.

Also, to keep the weed eater line from CONSTANTLY breaking, keep the spare line supply package soaked in water - it truly makes the positive difference. :)
