In 1977 Queen Elizabeth II had her Silver Jubilee celebration to mark her 25th UK ruling anniversary................

In 1977 Jimmy Carter the guy who stands up for the Palestinian people was president of the USA...................

In 2002 Queen Elizabeth II had her Golden Jubilee in celebration to mark her 50th UK ruling anniversary.........

In 2008 Barack Obama becomes the first African American President of the United States............................

In 2012 Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee to celebrate her 60th year of rule with the Sceptre over the British

I really appreciated that post by RA, and agree with his it's not all black and white, he no doubt could be pessimistic and dismiss it all, but I think there is more worth in his optimistic position, for a start it immediately broadens our understanding of in what ways Barack is a positive influence, and I definitely think he is for a lot of young people in the US, it encourages me that lot's of middle class white americans will grow up with an alternative perspective on Black America than the one available in gangster rap.
