On that note: there are 5000 jewish people living in Morroco. (Arabic Muslim country)

25,000 in Iran (Persian Muslim country)

18 000 living in Turkey

Previous to the establishment of Israel the Jewish populations of many Arabic countries were comparable to those of european countries.
