Les Miserables fan Sally Frith sees musical 957 times

Sally Frith from Gloucestershire is a massive fan of Les Miserables.
In 25 years she has notched up 957 visits to see the famous musical on stage and has possibly spent more than £50,000 in doing so.

Edited out nippy, too big, repeating, "WTF" gif.

It's an addiction alright.

After that many viewings, I'd be so bored and sick of it that I'd want the thing banned from the planet and all evidence it ever existed destroyed! :chuckle:

I have seen it many times and it never gets old - infact am off to the cinema for the first time since phantom menace to see the film tonight - a welling up already!!
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.

I'm not surprised it's taken you all this time to go venture back to the cinema after watching that awful film :D

I've seen Beetlejuice about 20 times so I'm a lightweight compared to her. :)

I suppose if you really, really like something you can watch/read/listen to it repeatedly but 957 is a bit bloody excessive. I'm led to believe it contains songs so I'll probably give it a miss.

My mum & sister have been to see it quite a few times, but I always refused to go, on the grounds that it seemed - well miserable! :dunno:

Les Mis is great, seen the show in London, and looking forward to seeing the film (a lot of which was filmed around here).

But 957 times? Nah.
