I notice mentally I enjoy participating in things alone more as I have become older, and also the fact I really don't like being bothered.

or...... now realizing friends are not all their cracked up to be.

Physically it's a constant battle to remain non lazy, and sleep is not as refreshing as it once was, and energy comes in more or less spurts.

My solitary ways are becoming more enjoyable every day

Are you still enjoying socializing a lot in public with friends?

Or feel it's a waste of time, money, and effort.

All about balance...or you become unbalanced.

After age 25 you gotta pull away from bitter people even if they are your friends.

Its ok to spend some down time in the house laying low and resting (even if that means taking a few years off being social)

But when it's time to leave the house, live your life and feel alive you gotta go for it.

Maybe yo are an introvert. There's a lot of pressure on people to confirm to the extroverted norn. Maybe you've reached a point in your life where you now think "Thisi who I am, if people don't like it the can jog on".

I don't think it's good to cut yourself off totally, unless it's for a spiritual retreat.
