nothing makes me want to slam a persons head through a old TV set as much as when they hurt baby animals.

The reason this topic is so important because it's the ultimate religious & spiritual decision.

If you eat other animals your nothing but a killer and no different than somebody with a gun catching bodies

Now i could go on a nature trail, along a stream or in a field, even walk thru a beautiful garden.

But the connection you have when looking at another creature of the earth like a dog in the eyes is pure compassion.

It's hard to complain about the system without being a hypocrite or other injustices on the earth if your eating creatures.

WIth that being said i'm going to be eating both bison burgers and philly cheese steak this week.

So now i gotta choose to make a conscious decision to cut back on meat or just say fuck the world and turn ruthless.

If your a stone cold atheist that's cool but don't even think about having good karma or any spirituality eating creatures.

Creatures of the earth are being born just to be slaughtered and ate so you think anyone gives a fuck about the poor?

If this is a survival of the fittest world we live in don't ever fucking expect the suffering on earth to ease up.

Don't think I've ever eaten a baby animal but i do eat meat.

The reality is if the responsibility was given to each individual to kill their own food,meat eating would become less popular.

I admit it's cowardly not to kill your own food if you eat meat.

When I buy a pound of turkey mince I always smack it about a bit with a stick just to make sure it's dead.

Sort of counts as hunting.

I always strap it to the hood of my van and on the way home I hang out the window whooping and drinking beer.

I don't pick my own veg either. I feel so ashamed.

I do eat meat but I think there is something in the psyche that doesnt agree with it.

If there was a table full of fresh fruit and vegtables it would be pleasing to the eye and also the smell would be enjoyable.

A table full of various cuts of meat doesnt have the same affect on the psyche?

In art fruit has been used as a subject in various paintings but not many pork chops or chicken legs.lol

Gutted. One of the lambs has just died. I ain't green and have been around animals since I was a kid so I know it happens. This little one was bright and inquisitive and anyone who's looked after sheep will know that she'd have grown up to be a pain in the arse. I've always had total respect for the ones that can work out how to escape pens etc though and was hoping we could pull this one through. But it wasn't to be.

What a load of rubbish. We are made to be omnivores.

Doesn't mean I like the way animals are raised / slaughtered. I'd raise creatures for food myself, giving them a good life and fast death with as little pain & stress for them as possible, if I only had the money to buy the land & livestock, and not have to go out to work so that I'd have time to tend the animals.

But we're not supposed to lust after money are we!

And we should feel bad about going to work, 'cause we must have been taken in by tptb to allow ourselves to be trapped in the rat race.

And we should also feel guilty if we don't go to work, and are therefore useless parasites on society.

I'm sick of all the bollocks about how we should feel guilty about EVERYTHING.

Yes, some people do try to sound holier than thou.

Anyhow - there's a school of thought that says all life, including plants, experience a level of consciousness and have emotion. So what a curel and inhuman lot we who eat veg are. We should all feel bad about it, and make more of an effort to survive by staring at the sun till our retinas fry. Otherwise, we're just naughty humans.
